CASSOLETTE
This old French word means small container used to evaporate incense with fire.
A cassolette normally has holes pierced in the shoulders and in the cover to allow the scent to drift out.
Cassolette are often made with two different materials, e.g. marble for the casolette itself and bronze for the support.
BOWL
Bowls are perfect for burning up incense sticks, as well as cones, coils, resin...

Flat burner, with a carved channel for catching ash from the burning stick.
